Canicross was first introduced to the AKU in 2000. Since the sport first being launched, the activity has seen thousands of owners and handlers taking to the great outdoors to participate. Canicross is a brand new way for both owner and dog to become healthier and fitter through the use of the outdoors. The name Canicross comes from the two words Canine and Cross Country.
