In our duty to ensure that dogs are healthy and happy, the Asia Kennel Union has a responsibility to lobby against legislation which could negatively impact on dogs and their owners, and to raise awareness of issues that affect dog health, welfare and general well-being.

We therefore have a dedicated Public Affairs team committed to campaigning and lobbying across the AKU and Europe for canine issues as the voice of dog owners.

TheAsia Kennel Union also has a press team which publicises all of the issues that the Asia Kennel Union has dedicated tools and resources for, in addition to running publicity campaigns for issues that require public education and awareness.
